HopSpot Pty Ltd (“HopSpot”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose information when you use HopSpot for Venues (the “Service”).
This policy applies to venue owners, managers, and authorised representatives who access or manage a venue account.

Venue name and physical location, business contact details (email address and phone number), name and role of authorised venue representatives, and login credentials and account identifiers.
Events, promotions, menus, descriptions, images, updates submitted by the venue, and account activity logs.
Device and browser information, IP address, and app usage analytics and performance metrics.
We collect information when you create or manage a venue account, submit content through the Service, and automatically through usage of the Service (including analytics and diagnostics).
We use information to operate and maintain HopSpot for Venues, display venue listings and promotions, communicate with venues, improve platform functionality, ensure security and compliance, and meet legal obligations.
By creating a venue account and using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. Consent may be withdrawn by closing your venue account, subject to legal and operational requirements.
Venue accounts may be accessed by multiple authorised staff members. Venues are responsible for managing access credentials, and all actions taken under a venue account are deemed authorised by the venue.
Content submitted by venues is publicly visible to patrons using the HopSpot app and may be viewed, shared, or interacted with by users.
Venues are responsible for ensuring submitted content is accurate and complies with applicable laws, including advertising and liquor regulations. HopSpot does not verify content for legal compliance.
Analytics are generated from aggregated and anonymised data. Individual patrons are never identifiable to venues.
Patron personal data belongs to the patron and/or HopSpot. Venues receive aggregated insights only and do not have access to raw personal data.
Information may be shared with trusted service providers or where required by law. HopSpot does not sell personal information.
HopSpot may link to third-party services. HopSpot is not responsible for their privacy practices.
HopSpot may review or remove content that violates laws or platform rules. Removed content may be retained temporarily for legal or moderation purposes.
Deleting your venue account removes access to the dashboard and deletes account credentials. Your venue’s public listing may remain visible to patrons. To fully remove your venue from the app, you must submit a written request to privacy@hopspot.app.
Information is retained only as long as necessary. Aggregated or anonymised data may be retained indefinitely.
We may send venue-related communications. You may opt out of non-essential communications.
This Service is intended for business use only and not for individuals under 18.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updates.
